How To Fund Your Startup With Blockchain Crowdfunding

January 31, 2018 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Blockchain crowdfunding allows a startup to create and sell its own digital currency. LibLob, a Daytona Beach startup, is the first peer-to-peer rental platform startup to focus solely and totally on the adventure sporting market. Libbers liberate (rent) adventure sporting goods from Lobbers who have lobbed (listed) on the platform. LibLob has created and is selling a custom cryptocurrency coin, called BOOMR, designed as a decentralized ERC20 token on the Ethereum blockchain utilized for and allowing for the exchange and interchange of adventure sporting goods, services, and other experiences. BOOMR will also be used as a rewards and incentive token for Libbers, Lobbers, and new users.
Tonight you will hear from Zachary Spoor, cofounder and CEO of LibLob (clients of the University of Central Florida Business Incubation Program, graduates of Embry-Riddle Test Flight Business Bootcamp, and graduates of the VentureScaleUp advanced accelerator), who will talk about his experience in raising capital for LibLob using blochain crowdfunding. You will also hear from David Meek, an attorney with Losey PLLC, who will talk about key legal issues in blockchain crowdfunding.
