DESCRIPTION:Join us every Tuesday to learn how to build a firm foundation for your business. \nThis week we will be discussing The Art of Business Development with Jennifer Barrows of Withum- Making connections and effective networking are critical to business success. Learn some tips and best practices to get you on the right track. \nA member of Withum’s business development team for over two years\, Jennifer is responsible for creating new business opportunities and growing Withum’s customer base for the firm’s office located in Orlando\, Florida. A major part of her role has been to build awareness of the Withum brand as an outgrowth of a merger with a large local accounting firm at the end of 2015. She promotes the corporate culture and works to integrate other Withum team members into strategic business development opportunities. \nJennifer has a successful background in contract office furniture sales where she represented two of the top three manufacturers in the industry bringing design and workplace strategy to local and global companies in the Central Florida market. Jennifer is a current member and former board member of Commercial Real Estate Women and the Central Florida Women’s League. She currently serves on the board of the Commercial Finance Association and is active in the local tech and start up economy through Starter Studio\, Orlando Regional Tech Association\, the Orlando Economic Partnership and the National Center for Simulation.
