Ashley’s career began in healthcare at Florida Hospital and transitioned to the technology industry when she oversaw accounts as a Vice President at Uproar PR. Her healthcare and technology experience began to converge into a unique area of expertise\, where she found a special niche working with clients at that intersection. If she hadn’t found communications\, she’d likely been a doctor. Instead\, she views her role is to support innovation and big ideas by helping spread the word. Ashley is a fitness-enthusiast\, avocado lover\, and always planning her next trip to somewhere new. She’s a board member of Orlando’s American Advertising Federation\, part of Junior Achievement’s Leadership Council and a graduate of the University of Florida.

DESCRIPTION:Orange Technical College is preparing students to enter Orlando’s $5B modeling\, simulation and training industry as visual artists\, programmers\, designers and more. Students work with the latest 3D animation and game engine technology including motion capture\, 3D scanning\, and likeness capture to create realistic simulations used in the modeling\, simulation and training industries. \nWith the help of industry partners like the National Center for Simulation\, the Launch Site at the College’s Mid Florida Campus is a dedicated MS&T facility that houses a collection of simulation\, animation\, and cinema programs. Preparing students to enter the workforce as animators\, modelers\, programmers\, cinematographers\, effects artists\, simulation designers and motion capture technicians.
